Manila, Philippines – Instep Carbon and Sustainability Programmes (INSTEP) has officially joined the Net Zero Carbon Alliance (NZCA), marking a key milestone in its two-decade-long commitment to sustainability and climate action. The partnership was formalized during the NZCA Partners’ Onboarding on February 24, 2026.

Focused on Action and Impact
As a newly onboarded NZCA partner, INSTEP is emphasizing practical initiatives that translate sustainability commitments into measurable outcomes. During the Framework Alignment Workshop, the organization mapped its current programs against the NZCA Framework, focusing on:
Integrating sustainability into professional training
Embedding climate responsibility into event management practices
Measuring and reporting environmental impact

INSTEP aims to act as an enabler, equipping organizations and individuals with the knowledge and tools necessary to participate actively in the net zero transition.
The onboarding session offered insights from fellow NZCA partners on their climate strategies:
Cebu Pacific highlighted progress in fleet modernization and ground electrification.
First Philippine Industrial Park shared initiatives to promote renewable energy adoption.
International Container Terminal Services Inc. focused on maritime decarbonization.
Philippine Trade Training Center outlined its plan to support MSMEs in their decarbonization journey.
Workshop discussions also identified common gaps, particularly in:
Scope 3 emissions accounting
Comprehensive greenhouse gas (GHG) data collection
INSTEP sees these challenges as opportunities to further strengthen its training programs and sustainability support services.
Leveraging 20 Years of Global Experience
With 20 years of experience supporting organizations across the Asia-Pacific region, the United States, and Canada, INSTEP has helped integrate sustainability into professional training, events, and business operations. This new partnership with NZCA provides the organization an opportunity to expand its impact, especially in the Philippines, and to empower more organizations and communities to take concrete steps toward net zero.
